ORIGINAL ARTICLE: CAMPBELL RIVER — The Campbell River is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing popular BC Filmaker, 39 year old Twyla Roscovich out of the Campbell River area.
Twyla was last seen on September 7, 2017 at a bank in Campbell River.
Friends say she left Sointula on Malcolm Island on Sept. 6.
Her car, a dark green 1997 Volvo 850 station wagon, has now been found in Campbell River near the Quadra ferry.
Friends and family believe she may be on Quadra Island or Cortes Island.
RCMP say in a release Roscovich was last seen on the morning of Sept. 6 when she advised she was going to seek medical treatment. Police say she texted to tell friends and family that she would in be car camping and possibly going to Nanaimo.
Twyla is described as:
• GENDER: Female.
• ETHNICITY: Caucasian.
• HAIR: Brown.
• EYES: Blue.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 9 inches.
• WEIGHT: 161 pounds.
