Why does it take so long to report a missing person, sometimes a month after the fact?? Time is of the essence? I hope she is found safe and ok.

because most ppl in her position have proven to run off and go on binges for days at a time. it has NOTHING to do with ppl not caring. her fam has probably been conditioned to her running off. man seriously. think before you make such thoughts hey. i’m going through this right now w my own child. you call hospitals and police detachments SOOOO much. and you think about it night and day…. it steals your life and ability to cope. dont think no one cared. chances are, you have parents crying every day. The kid probably ran off for days at a time very frequently that you just stop calling in cuz you know they’ll show up. one thing for sure,, you never stop worrying. theres not a minute in the day u dont.

and she was reported right away, the police didnt place her on the missing persons list for many days after we reported her missing,as they get to decide when a person is missing not when parents know something isnt right

That’s awful. I don’t know why people would spread horrible information like that. I pray you get some answers soon and that she is found safe.

That’s very odd. because i have had to put out a missing persons for my son more than once. and every single time, the police were at my door RIGHT AWAY. You don’t even have to wait 24 hours. and my son was at risk and in his 20’s. So it’s VERY strange you’d say something so contradictory.
