Why does it take so long to report a missing person, sometimes a month after the fact?? Time is of the essence? I hope she is found safe and ok.

because most ppl in her position have proven to run off and go on binges for days at a time. it has NOTHING to do with ppl not caring. her fam has probably been conditioned to her running off. man seriously. think before you make such thoughts hey. i’m going through this right now w my own child. you call hospitals and police detachments SOOOO much. and you think about it night and day…. it steals your life and ability to cope. dont think no one cared. chances are, you have parents crying every day. The kid probably ran off for days at a time very frequently that you just stop calling in cuz you know they’ll show up. one thing for sure,, you never stop worrying. theres not a minute in the day u dont.

Jennx, don’t have the message deleted. That is a very good description of what parents go through. You are robbed of your life, everything is put on hold because we just don’t know. I appreciate your raw emotion and you got your point across effectively. There will be people out there that will alway make off the cuff comments unaware that families are looking for their children. It’s people like you that bring the emotion home and make it real so these people do understand. Sadly Traci didn’t make it home, something tragic happened and now the family can grieve. Thank you, I appreciate the comment. <3

and she was reported right away, the police didnt place her on the missing persons list for many days after we reported her missing,as they get to decide when a person is missing not when parents know something isnt right

That’s awful. I don’t know why people would spread horrible information like that. I pray you get some answers soon and that she is found safe.

That’s very odd. because i have had to put out a missing persons for my son more than once. and every single time, the police were at my door RIGHT AWAY. You don’t even have to wait 24 hours. and my son was at risk and in his 20’s. So it’s VERY strange you’d say something so contradictory.

She does the shit all the time. Known her since elementary school. Was smoking cigarettes and weed by the age of 13. Doesn’t help the parents are lazy af and don’t discipline her, thats how she got in this situation. Not to mention doing rails and rocks while pregnant, not to bash her or the family but there is 0 hope for people like her.

No wonder you labeled yourself “anonymous coward” Only a coward would post something that horrible and disrespectful about parents that are dealing with some heavy shit. Then you turn around and say “not to bash her or the family” That’s exactly what you intended to do, you idiotic fool. Great job at portraying yourself as an unsympathetic, vile person who trolls a missing person report that the parents obviously have notifications to. WTF is wrong with you?

I would like to pass along my heartfelt condolences. We should never have to bury our children. I pray you find comfort knowing she is safe now in the arms of Jesus. There is no more pain, no more tears. May she Rest in Glory. Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.
