ORIGINAL ARTICLE: VANCOUVER — The VanPD is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 75 year old Su “Sharon” Zhen out of the Vancouver, British Columbia area.
Sharon was last seen on May 27, 2017.
She left her residence near East Hastings and Nanaimo Street at 6 a.m. Saturday morning and has not been heard from since. Sharon usually takes walks in the morning but always returns. This is out of character for her, and police are concerned for her safety.
She was wearing a black sweater, black pants, and red slip-on shoes. Sharon walks slowly with a hunched back, only speaks Cantonese, and is in need of medication.
A search of the area around her home, along with checks of local hospitals, cab companies, transit, and other police agencies, have failed to turn up any sign of Ms. Zhen. She is known to frequent the areas of Chinatown and the PNE.
Sharon is described as:
• GENDER: Female.
• ETHNICITY: Asian.
• HAIR: Black and grey, short.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 2 inches.
• WEIGHT: Medium build.
• OTHER: Walks with hunched back.
