UPDATED: The British Columbia Missing Report sadly advises that according to the Columbia Valley RCMP Dorian Grant Sawatzky has been discovered deceased. Currently, the death is not believed to be suspicious. The Columbia Valley RCMP and BC Coroners Service are continuing their investigations into the matter. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this time. We would like to thank everyone who assisted by sharing this report.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: COLUMBIA VALLEY — The Columbia Valley RCMP is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 22 year old Dorian Grant Sawatzky out of the Columbia Valley, British Columbia area.
Dorian was was last seen in the Invermere area on September 20, 2017.
His family has not heard from him in a week and described this as uncharacteristic. He walks with a right side limp due to some right leg medical issues and was last seen wearing camo style shorts, a grey baseball hat, a black and grey Adidas jacket and may be carrying a black backpack.
Dorian is described as:
• GENDER: Male.
• ETHNICITY: Caucasian.
• HAIR: Brown, short.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 8 inches.
• WEIGHT: 130 pounds.
• OTHER: Walks with a limp.
