ORIGINAL ARTICLE: VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Police is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 44 year old Chris Schwede out of the Vancouver, British Columbia area.

Chris was last seen or heard from on April 21, 2017. 

Chris is living and working in Vancouver. He went to play hockey with friends who have said that they lost him Friday night in the area of Carnegie, Main & Hastings in Vancouver. They stated they searched but were unable to locate him. He never returned to the place he was staying and all of his belongings are still there.

He drives a grey Ford 4×4 250 with a broken window.

He was last seen wearing shorts. 


Chris is described as:

• GENDER: Male.
• ETHNICITY: Caucasian.
• HAIR: Light brown.
• EYES: Blue.
• HEIGHT: 6 feet.
• WEIGHT: 240 pounds.

    How could friend s just loose him on their way to hockey? I believe there is more to the story that the friends know

      It’s doesn’t say “on the way to hockey”. It says “he went to play hockey with his friends.” It doesn’t specify if this happened before of after hockey. Learn to read. Idiot.

    There is an update on his sisters Facebook, says Chris Schwede has been located. Trying to confirm with his sister now.

      No. I can’t confirm. From sisters Facebook page . He’s been located. He was seen on a video from a gas station in Vancouver 2 days ago. Police used facial recognition. So he is considered located and safe. Still no one has heard from him or knows where he is except that he’s in Vancouver somewhere. That said, he’s a big boy. At this point, I’m sure I’ll hear from him when he figures this all out or gets a new phone…which will likely happen at the same time!
